Breadcrumbs After Last Post

Have you thought about adding the small links (breadcrumbs) after the last posts here on AA?

I know that I've added it on some sites and the folks really use it and it helps in their navigation of the site. This way, they don't have to scroll all the way to the top (yeah, I know they're being lazy! :p) before continuing on through the site.

Just a thought.

Arny, it's down there - but waaay down; below the quick reply box. I suppose it won't be an issue to move it above the QR.

LOL....yeah, I would think that right above the quick reply box might be a good place for it since folks read up until the last post and would see it there. Or, they would stumble upon it as they are ready to do a quick reply.

 

Okay, done. I don't like it before the QR, so I think I'm going to turn this into a user-configurable option/setting in the UserCP.

 

Nick, you may want to try that one without the "box" around it (just the text one) in that spot and see if you like it like that. I can see what you mean about not liking the 'look' of it there.

 

I considered that, but I think it would then look out-of-place and unfitting. I'll mess with it tomorrow.

 

I like the way it looks, this is actually a neat mod for the lazy (me). User-configurable would probably be the best option.

I just didn't notice it way down there and it's generally a helpful way of assisting folks in finding their way around.

 

Yeah, I agree. I have no idea why I put it way down there where nobody would see it. :doh:
