BlueHost

Anybody ever use BlueHost? I used them for HCNET and they had great up-time (Went down once in 6 months.) The only bummer is that they required payment in a yearly interval up front.

 

I think i saw them on the phpbb homepage once, there seems to be mixed reviews on them.

 

Isn't BlueHost owned by that big company IEG that owns all these hosts like NetFirms, JustHost, FatCow, etc. ???

 

Wow I never knew that but I know IEG, I used to use fatcow and they are the worst ever. They all oversell.

 

As I said elsewhere, nearly all hosts oversell, it all depends on how they handle the abusers & what hardware they use, etc.

 

I should have rephrased it, they dont do and good job and they crowd there server way more than a reliable host does. You know what I meant.
