does anybody know a lot about blogs and content.. i need help to see how well my content is. i publish almost 2 or so articles a day..

    here is my question though..

the plug in i have to be able to have this featured article post, it has the SAME story, part of it right below..

this wont hurt my content will it?

Florida Gators Sports, Florida Gators Football, Florida Gators

see the big featured article post with the picture in the box??? then look right BELOW that.. its the same story..

    will that be ok?

Well, it's not "bad" but I think it may be illogical -- however, I may be wrong. I've never researched the placement or presentation of content, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Personally, I would put a highly-popular or very interesting article in the Featured Article section. It is the first thing that I see when I land on the page, and you want to keep your bounce rate low by grabbing a visitor's attention as soon as they land on the page. Having an interesting article there will do just that.

For somebody to see that then scroll down to see what else is there, only to find an exact copy of what is above, it may be a turn-off for them and they may exit the site. Try not to put the same thing twice in-a-row; especially not at the top of the page -- that space is precious. ;)

    Good luck!
