What are some affiliate programs you are familiar with and think might be worth advertising with here?

I have never been on the lookout, but the only two I am aware of are vBSEO and TransverseStyles. Do you have any others that you might recommend? You can include hosting company affiliate/referral programs as well.

I've used Commission Junction before which has a huge amount of different products, including vBulletin which would be a good one for on here.

There's loads more but I can't check for other good related ones now since I closed my account

HostGator is definently an affiliate program worth joining. I've made over $800 some months from their program alone.

vBulletin offers a program via CJ. And CJ is usually a good site on where to get affiliate offers.

I'd avoid clickbank, I hear they've been flooded with total garbage, 2nd hand poducts (warez, illegal copies, etc etc).

I've also made some good money thanks to Host Gator - enough to pay hosting fees, etc.

    Try out Host Gator indeed.

Well Amazon comes to mind as an obvious one. But it all depends what you site is about (your target audience). And if your affiliate suits it to make you money.

For example, I'm running both "Adsense and Amazon" on my Blog. Although using Adsense these days may not be the best way forward, because most people who use FireFox, use the Ads Blocker add-on to remove all Adsense ads from your site while browsing. Even I use it!

My sites about Movies, and soon I may be removing Adsense completely from it, it really is a waste of time these days. Instead using SlySofts afiliated program aimed at my target audiance too (buy software that can rip dvd movies) located here: SlySoft CloneDVD | clone dvd, backup dvd, dvd copy, copy dvd movies, dvd ripper, macrovision, dvd copying software

Then I'll have money making options on my site that no FireFox ads blocker will remove, like it blocks Google Adsense from being displayed. I think a lot of people tend to forget these days that FireFox is a mass used browser by visitors, and that a lot of them are blocking your ads from being displayed.

Amazon goes good with just about anything. They have a massive amount of products and all different types of banners.
