Adverts on phpBB3 - what and how!

I have just uploaded phpBB on a test server which is on a shared hosting. I am going to learn more about the application as things have realistically changed since 2006-7 when I had my first working forum and it was on phpBB.

Now, as things stand, I am still ill and so I would need funds to keep the forum running and also if all goes well, I will try to migrate it to its own space. So I thought of putting up some adverts on it - maybe Google adwords or even the others.

Now, in order to accomplish this, is there any plugin available or I have to start with tweaking the codes? Also, if possible, can you guide me with some ideas on Adverts on forums?
