So was sitting here looking at the advertisements to get ideas for how i want mine to look when i hire a designer and saw a small thing that you might wanna do to make it look nicer.

    ..

I suggest put like a 5px space or a line break tag between the adverts.

I know between the 125x125 and 88x31 you have 2 line breaks but it would make it look nicer if you do 2 or a 5px space on between them itself.

I only mention this cause once i get my banners I plan to purchase some advertising from yall and i know that i would want a 5px padding as it makes it look nicer and more professional.

    Just a thought,
    Randy.

When I added the TrafficRack ad last night, I was thinking the same thing. I couldn't decide how I wanted to do it. But now that I've got a second opinion, I think I'll change it.

    Thanks! :)

that may be but think about it from the admins point of view, they have to pay for hosting which is like $40+, and it all helps, now some forums that get alot of people who want to advertise will deny ad space if a company is a proven scam but small forums need all the help they can get.

It actually doesn't work, you know and that AD space is actually free [or just 5 dollars]. Promoting a scam isn't the way to go. I'd rather promote something real and not get views than to promote a scam.

This doesn't describe us. ;) Have you noticed our contest? :giggle:

Although I agree with you to an extent, we have no legitimate basis to deny advertising of any vendor.
Furthermore, we do not endorse the quality or opinions of our advertisers, whatever they may be.

I know THAT, I was just saying about 'his' point of view on it. I was generalizing my post not really pretending it to be AA, I think I know and everyone else knows how top nitch this community is. I know to some extent that this community just looks for production and to forward, not to step back members, so I don't think that the advertising represent this community. As I said, when I posted that I posted generally, not specifically, sorry if I didn't specify to whom or what I was speaking about.

No problems, FMB. I didn't mean to imply that you meant what it sounded like I thought you did. (You get a cookie if you can figure out what the heck I just said :P)

I just wanted to clear it up before things got out of hand. That happens sometimes, so I'd rather be clear about it. :)

So if I were to submit the advertisement, it would be in rotation with 50Cal's site?

No. The header banner does not rotate. In fact, none of our ads do at this time.

We are considering additional advertisement locations, but at this time, the only available slot is the last 125x125 on the sidebar.

    Oh okay.

I think it would be cool to have an advertisement above the forum index.
