Advertisement Information on Forums

Do you think it is a good idea to display an advertisement information page on your forums with pricings and other details of services you provide so that others may take a look and make a purchase?

Were thinking about doing this on our forums but not so sure about sticking it on the site with prices etc

What do you guys think of this?

 

I would do this, but I wouldn't make it really obvious. I'd probably link to it in the footer.

 

I don't do this, we are in a such a niche most all the players are know. Depending on their business volume I send them different rate sheets. For the advertisers I do not want as part of the site I send the a stupidly high rate sheet. If they want to pay 5x my base rate every month I'll deal with the fact that they not at the top of the list when it comes to desirability.

 

Personally I don't see an issue with this, as it's exactly what we do here.
