AdminAddict's gone a bit quiet, what happened?

I swear I used to have a few hundred times more unread posts a week ago or so.

It's annoying, because if I had an idea about something forum admin/management related to post, I'd do so but I've got a mental block in that regard as well.

Well, I hope this forum picks up again soon.

 

So I haven't been the only one that has noticed.

Maybe the School season affected.

 

I'm sure that it's a simple lull in activity. We experience these periods of inactivity every so often and they generally disappear after a short period of time.

 

Most forums have slow times, some are almost on a set schedule every year. Between school, work picking up, and probably other personal reasons, I'm sure there are some good reasons.

 

Yeah, each forum has its own pattern that it falls into, for whatever reason. It depends on the niche, too.

My Linnie Forum is really active in the early part of Summer (March-July) and it dies down in September for a short while. Right now it's pretty slow.
Our holiday festivities are going to begin soon though, so that should bring some more activity.

I visit at least twice a day (and usually have it sitting on a tab while I'm surfin' around) and I'm never disappointed. There's always something to learn or something to comment on. It wasn't like before where there were 100 topics per hour started, but it's still fine!

My forum is dead quiet too, I'm catching up on other things.

And apparently it is flu season.

 

Still trying to make the move to our new server and the band has their album dropping next week, so we are so busy. I want to stay here with you guys and learn how to SSH. I need to SSH. Heehee.

 

I know I've been quiet here, but I've been visiting and reading every day, SEVERAL times a day.

It's just that I have so many non-forum stuff to do right now.

As far as my forums, well, one of them has suddenly gotten busier since school started. (Silly geeks)

 

I have been busy with real world stuff. Hunting season is getting close, so I have been out in the woods

 

I've been busy; had many places to go, celebrating my birthday etc.
