I use Google to find gfx forums and I search around for those with problems similar to mine..
other than my members enjoying themselves, I'd have to say finding a host that had every feature I wanted to make available to my members, already...
probably the cost of an ipb license and hosting..

Dealing with other people's b.s. on their forums or having had to deal with enough idiots in general is what would make me want my own forum, and...

I don't.. I think that it would only bring the wrong kinds of people to my forum, and so I avoid this at all costs.
I think so too. It is a lot easier to ban someone for complaining than it is to fix what is [****][****][****][****]ed up in the first place.
Nope.. but some hosts, really enjoy that "we reserve the right to delete your forum for whatever reason" part of their TOS.
I know quite a few people I've had exchanges with that used IPBFree.. it is a shame that they have lost all of their hard work like this.
