    The ones I've seen have been breed specific - Yorkshire Terriers, Dalmatians, etc. Mine is all breeds of all pets so I'm casting my net a bit wider.

    Ahh I see, that would get you more members as its not just a certain breed.

    Really? I would think it would be more difficult to do something too specific.

    lol that was my thought to.. But turned out alot more difficult.. I think it has to do with all breed forums compete with everything dogs. Their are only so many keywords and everyone from dogs toys to vets are competing for the same spots on google.. Not a very scientific explanation but im sure it has merit. If i remember correctly i think my Doberman Forum was on page one of google within a month, searching "Doberman Forums" My ALL Breed Forum is almost a year old and i still cant find it on google searching "Dog Forum, "Canine Forum" Simply to much competition for those keywords.

    See, I dig that Google searches might not find the base forums, but it'll be the content and threads that SEO to the good searches.

    And something I am finding funny? When I was looking around at different animal sites one of the ones I checked out was yours.

    I believe it was from Google, yes. Not 100% certain as I did a lot of checking. It could have been a link from a different animal site, which is why I didn't specify.

    Nice looking site! I too would figure not being breed specific would be easier. Out of curiosity, how did you make the network friends area at the bottom of your site?

    Just add it to the footer template:

    HTML:
    <div class="footer_affiliate_links">Network Friends<br>
    <a href="http://www.canine-chat.com"><img src="/styles/default/xenforo/caninechatminibanner.png" alt="" height="50" width="150" border="0"></a>
    <a href="http://www.doberman-chat.com"><img src="/styles/default/xenforo/dcfminilogoyawy.jpg" alt="" height="50" width="150" border="0"></a>
    <a href="http://lovemyjrt.com"><img src="/styles/default/xenforo/ilovemyjrt.jpg" alt="" height="50" width="150" border="0"></a>
    </div>

    Yeah. And I'm working now to set up a regular feed from somewhere now that we can pull in RSS feeds. I'm finding it hard to keep posting interesting as I only have 3 animals.
