Ok, Liz. You're the graphix pro. When trying to downsize a pic to use as an avatar I ran into a problem with the size requirements. I resized the pic like always do using Irfanview to below the 120 x 120 pixel size. Well, it ended up still over the 25 KB size. (like about 49) So when I reduced that size down to a tiny, almost smilie size it was still just over 46KB. I normally shoot my pics at 2560 x 1920 on an extra fine setting. All the pics shot with my old camera (3MP) at 1600 x 1200 resize fine. Is there a way I can reduce the KB's for avatar pics?
That is the problem...the extra fine setting. What I will do is see about raising the kb size. The way you save it also makes a difference. Jpg's are smaller than gif's of the exact same size in width and heighth. Liz
