    Thats the first time I've ever heard anyone hint that there was score or ranking positive in using <strong>or <b>, one thing that he did say was about HTML5, I was having a discussion about that in another place, and it seems that a lot of Admin are ignoring it ( at their peril), I read this :

    it appears to me that ignoring HTML5 could put your site at a disadvantage over other sites.

    All this is true, but I would add something what is more 'technical' thing - estimate your traffic and choose appropriate hosting solution. Also consider what is called self-host - when you host your site/portal/forum etc on your own hardware. I know it may quickly eat up your money but planning/doing it wisely would quickly pay your expenses back, so its worth a shot I think....
