It tells me you just make shit up. Go to Google and search for this: Code: "Version 5.0.6" vBulletin And you will get multiple VB Cloud forums. Anyone with version 5.0.6 is vBCloud because 5.0.6 was never released to customers for download. So how is it you know how to search Google if you are so obviously wrong about the subject of indexed vBCloud sites?
Well, I partially read his post wrong. "Single" being the keyword. However, using your search terms, I came across only a few blips of vB Cloud and mostly vBulletin <insert previous version here>.
do you even English bro?? apol·o·gy noun \ə-ˈpä-lə-jē\ : a statement saying that you are sorry about something : an expression of regret for having done or said something wrong
Did a google search with the parameter you suggested, first result was the malicious activity detected from Aug 2011 and next was this thread Big News at vBulletin. Not many "Version 5.0.6" vBulletin results.
I guess my Google skills are not so hot I keep coming up with loads of sites like this: https://www.google.com.au/search?cl...smXK6eN8Qebg4DYAg#channel=fs&q=vbulletinsucks
Do we know how many developers are still working on VB5,VB4, and VB3. How many have they pulled off the development of these to work on VBcloud? How many are now employed in a public relations role to try to counteract the massive public backlash against their incompetence?
There doesn't have to be many. Brandon is on record saying there wasn't ANY vBCloud sites indexed by Google. I stopped searching once I found a query string that proved him wrong- which was the very 1st try.
Sorry, I call bullshit on this one. site:morallybankrupt.vbulletin.net 42 results site:rabidbadger.vbulletin.net 37 results site:shadetreemuscle.vbulletin.net 128 results site:cyberpolice.vbulletin.net 35 results Google appears to be indexing vbcloud sites just fine. this is just a few, there are more.
For the record I seached for the first string that Joe posted. I searched it in google and found vb.com sites, I seached in bing and found a few vbcloud sites. The point was that google should have more listings regardless of any string compared to bing/yahoo.
Why not just look for anything on the vbulletin.net sub-domain? https://www.google.com/search?q=site:vbulletin.net
And do you have any proof of that? Because I've searched a whole bunch of vB 5 sites (using the presence of 'IB Admin' or whoever as the clue to whether the site uses vB Cloud), and very few seem to be using it.
Proof myself- yes. Proof I can show you- no. Not my place to disclose sales figures or such breakdowns- of which yes- we got an update today.
Indeed... not really sure why people even care that much to be honest. Either way, my spider logs the internal version number of vBulletin installs it runs across, and it hasn't run across any 5.0.6 installs on it's own domain as of yet (obviously it's not exhaustive... I'm sure some will start showing up before too long). You can see various versions being run here: http://admin-talk.com/threads/the-whos-actually-using-vbulletin-5-list.50848/#post-576252
