Re: vBSEO License (SOLD) & vBulletin 3.8 Owned License The license can be upgraded to 3.8.6 if you pay the renewal fee. Otherwise, you'll be able to download and use 3.8.4 PL2 on a live forum. So yes, you can use it even though it is expired. You just can't download any versions newer than 3.8.4 PL2.

I can also provide a screenshot of the ticket that I have that says my license is eligible and ready for transfer. Beyond that though, it's basically all just trust. The renewal fee, I think, is $50 to have 3.x (no 4.x) for 3 months. I think.
