I use a BlackBerry as well. Although I might switch out to a Verizon services Android phone if I like them. The iPhone, IMHO, is a toy. Not a smartphone.

Nothing Apple makes is different. Ipad is just a huge Ipod

Have any of you actually owned or used an iPhone for any length of time?

BlackBerry is about to get pushed to the back of the bus as the iPhone and Android continues to gobble up market share.

Yes I have, it just seems to 'take away'. Best word choice I could find.

True, everyone is looking for their phones to continue pushing into new technologies, and BlackBerry has failed to serve that; but I still stay vigilant that they will produce something big in the next big releases.

The only thing wrong with the iPhone is iTunes. I hate that misbegotten piece of software.

/me knows better then to get involved. I'm a phone geek and this topic makes me want to vent something nasty...

    iPhone is a toy.
Verizon is a "nickle and dime to death" company.
Apple knows they are going down, I mean seriously a lawsuit against HTC and Google? For 20 "patents" like "making a gesture on a unlock screen to unlock the phone". Um, how about MS sues you for making a touchscreen device? Yeah, Windows Mobile been around since long before iTurd

    I'll stop now.

    Yes.

I hate touchscreens. I did when I was forced to work on them a decade ago, and I do now.
