Has anyone checked out wordpress 3.x yet?

I'm going to give it a shot on my personal blog this weekend, unless I forget :D

Messed with it on my test site, not too impressed.

I'm in the beta testers email and it looks like it's nowhere near ready for production.
Looking forward to the finished product though

I suppose they messed with the authentication yet again... People get their bridges fixed and here comes another change. *shakes head*

I've just only created my personal site, using Version 2.9.2. I finally got a look that I like, so I doubt that I'll upgrade to v3.0 anytime soon. Maybe I'll setup a test on a subdirectory if I have time later this week. I'll be sure to report back when I do.

Thought you would be interested to know I was able to get vBulletin 4 and Wordpress 3.0 Beta 1 to integrate on my dev site with the Complete Wordpress vb bridge on vb.org.

Unfortunately I messed up the Wordpress database trying to create a wordpress network. I'm hoping its because its beta.

But... for regular wordpress, the bridge for 3.8 works stil with Wordpress 3.0. Hopefully that continues because we still need to add comicpress to our site.

Well, if you do get the bridge working, I would be interested in the hack. I am running a wordpress front door to a vb 4.0.3 forum on another site and would love to connect the two. Liz

I am running WP3 beta with a 2.9.2 theme. No problems at all. :)
    Drummy.org

I also enabled the multisite feature and run two blogs - one German one English and it works real well. Sure there are bugs, but it's beta. Or as the vBulletin developers would say:
    It's gold.

    LOL @ Gold.

Nice site by the way, I like the style.

I finally got around to installing the 3.0 Beta over a test of my 2.9.2 site. It hasn't broken anything and the theme is still intact. It even updated to the next Beta (3.0 Beta 2). I guess I downloaded an earlier version.

I've been running nightly builds for about a month now. Seems pretty rock solid to me. :)

I installed the beta linked in the first post to play with on a spare domain and it just said "I have upgrades" but it kept failing on some weird error, I'll get the nightly tonight.

Use the beta tester plug-in mikey. It's pretty sweet -- that's what I've been using and have had no issues with day-to-day updates.

Not yet. I want to though. Have to figure out to do it with addon domains and cPanel.
