dont you just hate it when you have a friend...well, sort of a friend, who you only talk to cause theyre your friends friend, who is a bit over friendly...you know the sort of person who your afraid to sign into msn cause you know that they are going to start a conversation with you......that generally consists of them: hi you: hi *long silence* them: so what are you up to you: ermmmmmm talking to you on msn... them: you:
Hah, I'm dealing with someone like that right now. He's not a friend, he's just a random I got stuck with for no reason, I'm thinking it's punishment for something I did. :lol: He's not overtly friendly, but just tear your hair out cross. :devil:
Unfortunately, my problem is worse. I have an Ex on MSN who has developed yet another obsession with me. She won't leave me alone. >_<;;
Women that I've dated or am dating - Yahoo with invisibility on People I'd rather not deal with - MSN Work stuff - I'm not saying That how I deal with that
MSN is the primary form of communication used between me and the rest of our developers. So to stop using is kind of not an option, unfortunately. Staying marked as busy helps, a little.
I just really hate having "conversations" on MSN, especially when it's about random stuff that they don't need to know.
*points and laughs* You're a coward, Nick :unhunh: How can you miss out on the daily ritual of telling people you built a forum for admin advice and you're not there as their own personal forum fixer on msn . . . :devil: Wow... that makes me sound really uppity - but I'm not.. honest :p
PM's are even better. "Hey. I just saw your forum and really like the layout. Pls tell me how to make mine look like that. Make it in simple steps as I am new to this. Thks"
I've taken to ignoring them now. there aren't enough hours in the day. Running one forum takes quite enough time already.
my forum stalker from a while ago hasnt been on the forum and deleted himself from my facebook, after he tried flirting with me and i told him to stop. this other friend who keeps talking to me, i show up as offline or busy or something in msn now, and i have him in a special group on facebook where they cant see me online in chat...i will put him back online when i dont mind him talking to me, but offline if he gets too much
I do help genuine people with realistic queries, if I can.....certainly I will try and point them in the right direction, like Lynne always does. But I won't build their forum them and I certainly won't show them how to make a site just like mine....I have a lot of unique bits on mine. (I don't display the URL any more since people join it and then complain about it as it's a bit....near the knuckle...at times).
