If you have money on your hand and you decided to purchase vBulletin software for your new forum. What option of those two do you prefer to go with?

I had to buy the suite as i had a leased license and it was $130 to upgrade to the suite so i did. (wasnt an option to upgrade to just the forum, as in theory i already had that..)

The only things i will be using from the Suite is the forum and blog, As i already have a home page another one for the forums is just pointless.

~_~ I don't have a need for the suite, well on my design site maybe.... but other than that I don't. So I'd get the forum classic.

From what perspective, cost or feature requirements ?

Cost wise, long term = suite as ticket support is included even if you don't need it as much good to have. You probably to look long and hard at what you want to build.

If money was a concern start with what you can afford i.e forum classic vB4 first and work to monetize the forums and was it growths you can afford the suite. But if money wasn't a concern probably just jump in on the suite for an all in one - long term probably less to admin/manage behind the scenes than having one script for blog, one for cms and one for forums. Afterall, time is money :)
