Where do people get arcade games?

You know how vBulletin/Invision Power Board/phpBB/SMF have arcade modifications? Where do people get games for it? I asked on vBulletin.org, but they don't allow discussion of where to get them, and everyone who answered always point to sites that require registration and limited downloads per day.

Aren't there any good resources that are just free?

Thanks for the links. Anyone got suggestions on games to add though? I usually add games based on series I like, but if you've got any games at your forums which are popular with members, can you post the names here?

I try to pick out games based on my forum's topic, or at least appealing to the major demographic there. Is this for your Nintendo forum?

Yeah. But I can't just have Nintendo related flash games, there aren't enough of those on these arcade game sites, and many of them I've already added.

I find the Yeti games to be very popular, as well as the space games and word games like Word Whomp, etc.

Okay, I've been trying ibp downloads, and it's annoying me to heck. First my account never got the verification email, then it was locked because some idiot signed up with my own site as their site (and yes, it was a forum member from my actual site), so I gave them a code that proved I was the owner, and they still apparently won't get round to unlocking my account. Is it that difficult to do so on a forum that's so slow activity wise at the moment?

It's annoying, because every site I've gone to has either a limited amount of games, or ridiculously harsh registration procedures.

Edit: Never mind, my account got verified and I can finally download some arcade games. I've basically run out of Nintendo related fan games to add to that arcade now...

Well, let's just hope it won't distract me from actual forums as well, since I have tendency to play too many arcade games.

Out of curiosity, what games are those, and what's the original site the game came from?

I cannot honestly remember where I got mine from, its a few years ago now, but I have about 900 V3 games and over 1000 IPB games.

Ive never even loaded most of them, I just pick a few at random every now and then and add them to the site (I run V3 Arcade, which accepts either type of game).

I have a CD with 1500 games on it that I've had for years. I downloaded them from a few links posted on vb.org when the arcade first came out.
You can find them on google if you search for v3arcade packs or the ipbarcade packs
