Anyone else going or even wanting to watch this movie? I've booked my tickets tonight and going with some members of the family. So, anyone watching going to watch this movie or giving this a miss?
I'm looking forward to seeing this. It's being released on June 24th (here in the United States), and while I probably won't be going to see it on that date, I will be shortly after.
I'll be watching it on Wednesday or Thursday next week. I don't pre-order tickets though. The local cinema chain charges an extra dollar per ticket when you pre-order them. Since they own every Cinemaplex within 45 miles, they kind of got you where they want you.
Yes, that is for a different topic though. Looking forward to the movie. Its probably the one movie that I have anticipated most this season. I tease my kids about it. When the first Transformers movie came out they didn't know what it was about. So when I asked if they wanted to go they said "Why would we want to go see a movie about stupid planes?" Took them anyway and they loved it. Now I kid them and ask them if they are ready to go see another movie about stupid planes. Their most anticipated movie though is the Twilight sequel in the fall. We'll go see Harry Potter next month but my kids have outgrown a lot of the mystic of that series...
Yeah, this is definitely one I'm going to be seeing. I loved the first one. I'll probably be in the 12:01 or 12:02 AM showing on Tuesday night.
I'm definitely going to see this movie when it debuts next week. Kobius on the AZ found some pictures of the Autobots and Decepticons who will make an appearance. 20 robots have been announced, and ho they look sweet! The last one is only a rumor, but I think he'll make an appearance of some sort Optimus Prime [Autobot] Bumblebee [Autobot] Ratchet [Autobot] Ironhide [Autobot] Arcee [Autobot] Jetfire [Autobot] Sideswipe [Autobot] Jolt [Autobot] The Twins (Skids and Mudflap) [Autobots] The Fallen [Decepticon] Starscream [Decepticon] Scorponok [Decepticon] Sideways [Decepticon] Soundwave [Decepticon] The Doctor [Decepticon] Ravage [Decepticon] Wheelie [Decepticon] Devastator [Decepticon] Demolishor [Decepticon] Megatron [Decepticon] ------------------------------------------------------ FULL ARTICLE: http://www.empireonline.com/features/robot...-transformers-2
He did. The whole point of this movie is that the decepticons get revived and come back. I've actually seen Megatron in the official trailers. Devastator also died in the first one, he was the giant tank.
Small fact: All the Egypt scenes were filmed in a local quarry about 15-20 miles from my house. It is the same quarry that they filmed the opening desert scenes for the first movie in. Of course the Transformers themselves are all CGI so we didn't get to see them. Can a sentient cybernetic organism actually be killed or are they merely disabled until new parts arrive? Seems Michael Bay and the Transformers storyline is going with the new parts theory. Optimus broadcast the Autobots position to the entire galaxy. Seems the transmission was picked up by more than additional Autobots. Though in the future, I think the military might use volcanoes instead of ocean trenches to dispose of disabled enemies from Cybertron.
you left out one decepticon the official site mentions named THE FALLEN he is supposidly an acient one
Not as good as I thought (story line wise) though it's definitely got some great cgi (special effects) Some of the best I've seen. I won't go into it further and post any spoilers.
I am not going to see it expecting it to be a literary masterpiece. It is based on a cartoon from the 1980s that was developed by a toy company to sell more toys. As long as there are booms and thuds along with lots of ammunition and decently performed action, I'll be happy.
