Manual Directory Submission or Automatic?

Does it make any difference if I use some script to submit my link to free directories? Or I must go with manual submission?

 

well i cant see any problems with it.... but can you assure that your link will be posted to where you want???

 

agrees with nightlinker as automatic may not be the best since it will have to submit it where it was programmed unlike manual where you know where it will be when submitted.

 

yes... in addition, The Value of Directories with automatic posting is been lowered by google. so if ever you'll going to submit in directories make your the categories your submitting has PR..

 

true but sometimes sites have fake PR, how will you know that your not being scammed? gotta to think about this..

 

yes thats true... most of them used redirecting to fake the PR....

 

yeah and then when google does its PR update and you check the site again...and its either a PR0 or n/a and you paid to have a link on something that isn't any good...

 

one way to know whether the PR is redirected is... put the URL in the google search bar and then if the result is other URL or more URL is shown that means its redirected

 

I prefer Manual slow submission coz i have heard that sudden rise in backlinks will make google to impose penalty for the site..so slow manual submission is the best and more over it looks natural

 

I think doing both manual submission and automatic submissions as long as you will not add your links to as much as many links in a month..

 

i think this is one of the best thing to do to check if the pr is fake or not.
