Automated Tags...

I love that the title of threads are included in the Tags automatically - What modification is that please? I'd love to have it on the new board I'm in the process of developing.

It's a great modification indeed. Maybe vBulletin 4 will have something like that by default.

 

Nick, I agree. That's a great mod and I've used it since it's release!

 

As I stated on the mod's thread at vb.org, I wish that it also picked up keywords from within the op. Since it doesn't, I always add tags before I save the post, and allow members to add tags as well.

I might try asking over at InvisionModding.com, I think they do custom work but I could be totally wrong.

Yea this is an wonderful feature and i love it. Hope its get to be an built in feature on vbulletin.

 

Added this to my site and can't seem to get it to work. Run the update and nothing changes. Post new threads and they are stored with no tags. Everything is turned on in the options as far as I am aware.

 

That's odd Wayne, I didn't have any problems with it.

 

Seems I just had to mildly curse and threaten it with deletion. It is working this morning.

Peggy, you should be able to add tags to your own threads. Are you referring to adding tags to others' threads?
