Getting hold of the technology

Considering that there are so many new things happening in the technology world, it sometimes becomes tough to stay updated with the technology.

How do you keep yourself updated with the technology?

I refer Gizmag sometimes Gartner and "try" to keep myself updated.

 

Reading is the best way to stay up-to-date with technology new, but one thing is knowing what's new in the world that surround you, and another put hands on such technology.

Sometimes I feel like being unable to cope with the latest technology trends being unable to buy this or that stuff, but eventually knowing about the latest technology helps to learn quickly how to use such stuff.

 

I meant the same, so what is that activity that you do without fail as far as keeping up with the technology is concerned?
Is it some sites or is it your network which keeps you updated?
