As above. Many users with @uhost.com tried to register on my web sites and they get rejected saying that UHost based mails were rejected by form.

WTF? I have not scripted anything like that.

This happens only on vb based forums. On any other script it is ok. Any help?

Are you using askimit or vbstopforumspam? Check ACP > Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager

Both those type plugins query a 3rd party database list of know spammers via username, ip, or email. When flagged by any of the 3 vb rejects them automatically at sign-up. There may be other plugins or default settings that go by a different name in newer VB versions, not sure as I'm not familiar with 4.0 or 5.0 versions.

You may also want to check: ACP > vbulletin Options > User Banning Options

Check the above just to make sure that email isn't on the list by default for blocked email providers.

    Hope that helps,

    thanks a lot..... :)
there was a total mess in whole ACP.....many options which should be disabled were enabled and vice versa........
Plugin list showed many (approx. 30) unknown (for me) plugins installed.
I cleaned up the mess and wow....its working smoothly now......

Thats the 'cost' of hiring new admin who you dont trust completely.....this lesson is learned hard. I have deleted this admin account and I returned to be the only one admin on that forum.

    Once more, great thanks :)
