Taboola

Does anyone here use Taboola? I notice both of my major local newspapers use the widget on their own sites. I was considering looking at Taboola to build traffic of our car reviews. Any other competition to Taboola I should look at as well?

It's very interesting concept. But I don't have such a content site to test it out. The more sensationalist celebrity type articles would work well. It's those eye dropping headlines that can attract a click. The only monetization scheme that I can think off would be your passive ads. Would it be worth the cost to use a service like this? I don't know.

Any thoughts?

 

I can make some sort of sensational headlines from an automotive standpoint.

 

I found a similar one today - Outbrain.com
From their website it costs you $0.15 per click of your link.... that sounds to be on the cheaper side. With the right adsense setup, it might work.
