Google plus more search friendly than Facebook likes in terms of SEO?

    I always have my eyes on ways to market better, and apparently having the Google+ sign is better than Facebook likes in terms of getting rankings and all that.

    What does everyone think about this? Are you using both methods in terms of promoting your site and getting it ranked more/better on search?

    Thank-you for this post. It is very interesting. I could certainly see Google plus as being more search engine friendly. I will have to see how this unfolds for my own website.

    Of course Google is going to give preference to it's own products. It's one of those unfair competition things that's going to get them slapped by the FTC like MS in the late 90s.

    Hmm.. I might just have to experiment with this, to improve my SEO.

    But then again, I should probably install a few social plugins on my site..
