Just read about this awesome Wordpress plug in and installed it: WP Smushit. Basically upon uploading an image to your blog it runs it though Yahoo's Smush It API which returns an image much smaller in file size. I ran it on some preexisting pictures and saved about 3mb already which is a lot because I resize my images before uploading them anyhow

This will not only save server space but bandwidth. I looked for a vBulletin plugin for attachments no such luck. :(

PS... I have some images from an import and they're not in my media library yet, I found this mod and it seems to place all images in your library :)

Also.. if you have the smush it installed already, all images will be smushed as they are imported :toocool:

It looks like it's coming from cache for you Redneck. When I view the page I don't see the picture linked above.

Smush.it's been good for me. Perhaps it's just something in your hosting environment that doesn't play well. If you have a full backup on your computer you can pull the picture and reupload it.

Sorry Redneck I'm fresh out of suggestions. Perhaps that image was corrupted in some way? I've seen it happen before when it displays fine but I cannot open it in Paint.net or Gimp.

Thanks, I think it is probably a setting or something the site is heavily modified and lots of plugins. When I post and send the post to FB the image won't show in FB either. But my other two sites which all three are identical the images show up..

Not sure why this had anything to do with it...but I disabled hotlink protection and now all the images show up and smush.it works on Truck Drivers News..and when I enable hotlink protection it disables all the images except for on the blog site..and smush.it won't work.
