I figured there would be another update out already, this is their 2nd public build still right?

I was tempted to buy a copy of XenForo during the one day sale for a new project I'm working on. But went with a second hand license of vB Suite going for half the price. I just can't see myself purchasing forum software that doesn't even have a calendar. Maybe in another year or so when they've had time to develop it a bit more.

Hopefully, they won't go with a Xenforo version of project tools but instead decide on something a bit more popular.

I was tempted to get a copy just to have one, but I didn't have extra cash at the time.
Although I think I would rather wait a year or two to see how it develops.
What version is XF up to now?

Is it just me or does anyone find it weird that Kier is posting over at vB?
    Was the case settled?

Thank you...and yes that is a little strange, to say the very least.

Seems like there's a good chance that the US case may be dismissed. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I kinda hope it is.. I hate this war game. Let's just see two top forum platforms fight head to head with their products. Instead of their dang lawyers!

this is pretty cool, this thread is on the first page of google for xenForo..lol
I would think all the new startups would have that page covered...
Maybe I should pick up a license to play around with so I can add it to my services page :D

Meh I don't like XenForo. I find that it's too much like phpbb and ezyboards mixed into one. Looks shithouse.
    Would rather IPB and vBulletin.

I'm still a vb 3 series guy. Prolly always will be. All tho, I'm liking how this place is set up. I'm getting a little more comfy with 4.

I really like the backend. It doesn't look like there are as many options as vB but it's sure as hell a lot more navigable.

I just noticed that WTF.COM has switched over it's forum to Xenforo. http://forums.wtf.com/
Does anyone know of any other big boards that have actually made the switch? I've read about a few that have intentions on changing, but not to many that actually have.
