Do you prefer to buy a theme or modify a free theme? Since I don't have enough money to buy paid themes I prefer to modify free templates.

I rather buy a paid one, but I dont think is that important to have a custom made theme. But yea I modified this theme.

Depends, if you can afford one. If I want one professionally I would pay if not then just modify. But this one looks amazing and this was modified.

It's much better to modify a theme, you can make it the way you want without spending a cent.

id myself would either buy a theme or pay for one to be designed and coded.

    More Unique.

Modify. If you know HTML it is the easiest and cheapest thing to do. (And good at making graphics :D)

As a skin designer, I would prefer y'all paid, lol. But as an owner, I know that isn't always possible which is how/why I got into designing my own skins years ago and I release free themes

If you're an artist then you always go for the Custom theme. You're forum should showcase you're talents weather it be designs or like many unique topics.

I try and do them myself as my users aren't after anything fancy, just colour variations usually suit them fine
