I know the main thing you want is backlinks.

You get backlinks by linking your site on other forums and websites.

Another thing to do is user anchor links. These links make it where if you put lets say - Gaming your site will be search for when googling or binging that word.

So what are your tips?

 

make sure your forum is search engine friendly by having tags and stuff around your board wrappers and such to pull them in and make it easier to index your stuff.

 

having alot of tags i guess and i really got some actvity by that

 

yes, it is great trick, but batter to work with higher PR sites.
