"Can I recharge my phone with you ?" with this simple request, a Hacker can hack into your PC while you are sitting in front of it. All that the hacker need is an android smartphone with a USB cable.

Antivirus programs and Windows oversee the USB port and show a message as soon as a memory stick is attached there. That is for a good reason, since the USB stick can contain dangerous malware. If you plug in a USB keyboard, there is no security check as keyboard do not smuggle in malware. The hacker make use of these facts. He install an emulator application in his smartphone that makes windows believe that the equipment attached is not a phone but a keyboard. The application then automatically sends a control command to computer that can open a hidden internet connection for the hacker, through which he can carry out further hacks.
It gets even nastier: if the hacker app gets in your smartphone without your knowledge, it hacks your PC as soon as you recharge the phone through USB cable.

Defense: Microsoft and the manufacturers are searching for a solution even yet. Till one is found, there is just one solution, turn down the friends request to use your machine. If your own phone is contaminated, it helps if you synchronize it just via the network.

This would wreak havoc if someone wanted to do evil in a PC Room (A place where you can use a computer, pay per hour, these places are common in Canada and Korea)

    Or even a library, ouch.
