Does XenForo Lack User Ranks?

Today, I signed up for a demo of XenForo just to see what it's full potential was. I was amazed. The ACP had so much, and I was pretty sure that some features weren't showing because it was a demo. However, I didn't see any User Ranks option in the Users tab. I saw that there was one for trophy points, but I didn't see any for post count. Is this something that XenForo is missing? Or is not available in the demo? If it's not yet made, I definitely think that it should be added. Why? Because it's fun to mess around with and a lot of other forum softwares have it (MyBB, phpBB, IPB).

 

Have to agree ranks help define a forum sometimes.

 

I personally think XenForo addresses that very well with the Trophies feature. If you really feel that's your way to go, here's an add-on.

But I really like the trophy feature myself. It's essentially Xbox LIVE Achievements, but for a forum.

Also, it's more than just posts. It also supports likes, how long you've been a member, etc. But what I'd like to see would be features such as adding an avatar/signature or manually-awarded trophies.

 

I reckon they do lack in user ranks, then again vBulletin is full of them and bases around them

 

Yea, I agree, and posts counts are replaced by trophy points to achieve the forums ranks. And I like the trophy system much much better, as you have mentioned it is very similar to Xbox's Achievements and it adds a nice touch to any forum. Gives the user a nice experience.

 

Xenforo doesn't have 'ranks' but they have these cool ribbons that can be added to the style. I have them live at promotion box. They're VERY sexy and I prefer them to ranks any day

 

Yes they are pretty nice, I used to have them but I decided to remove them after changing styles.

well I think they look nicer than your little round CSS badge ranks, and fit better into the styles, etc.

Just an update, it has been added

 

XenForo Trophy System > Other Forum Software User Rank System

With other forum software you only rank up by posts, but with XenForo you can just rank up by getting lot likes, being member for X day, or posts.
