Which IPB Theme do you use, and why?

 

recently my site is gonna b off but i will start soon, and theme was pink, loveable, <removed> Thanks,

In the past I've used Skinbox for my themes, I love the modern look but unfortunately the most recent theme we were using a month or so back was causing havoc for some people on older computers
Right now I'm actually using a theme that I created myself. I created a dark theme as it was what most people on the board wanted. I'm currently working on a couple of light themes and I'm considering submitting them to the IPB marketplace, depends if they're good enough I guess!

 

And I do see skinbox themes being overused so much.. all most all of them.

 

I was using one of Fisana's skins and later, Overlay Apple by IPBForumSkins.com. Great skin.

 

One of my sites uses Skinbox's "Elegant" and the other "Velvet". I used them because when I started using IPB, Skinbox definitely had the sexiest skins ever.

Fast forward to today, and I think Skinbox quality has gone down more than just a little. I'm still using the old iterations of those skins because the new ones feel completely halfassed (padding is off, ajax is finicky, attention to detail has gone down). I'll probably use some new skins when I update to 3.2.

 

Yea I remember when they were the best around but now there are some other ones which are just as good if not better like http://ipbforumskins.com/

 

I use Velvet by Skinbox. :-) I like it, I like that it gives you 3 color options built into the skin and it just overall looks nice. My users like it a lot too

 

Its a very nice design, I like it very much.

 

Yeah, unfortunately the update he made for it kinda messed mine up so I'm gonna try uninstalling and re-installing it to see if that fixes it
