Locking Topics When The OP Does Not Reply After X Days

    Wow I never have been apart of a forum doing that for normal threads.. thats a stupid thing to do.

    Yea, and I don't see how it benefits them at all, it actually stops them from getting more posts.

    Nooooo I would never do this D:

    Life happens, I see no reason to punish a user for it.

    Aside from that, sometimes, at the time, a topic has expended its discussion. However, in the future, there may be something new to be added. If the thread is locked, the discussion either can't continue, or a double thread is made, which is bad both ways =|

    I don't have a necro rule either for this very reason. Don't see the need to punish users just because a thread has gone old.

    No I don't ever. Why would you? Maybe the thread came from a package where the user never logs on (only time he does a package). Then less replies are being made. I usually rarely reply back to the threads I've created.

    I would not do this. Only if the thread dies i would. If its interesting and people are replieing and such then why close it. Thats like someone coming up with a great idea and if he don't carry on, people go on with it making it happen.
