Will MyBB ever go paid?

 

If MyBB was made into a commercial company then how much do you think the price will be ranged at?

 

Probably around $120-130 considering IPB is $150, and Xenforo is $140

 

I'd go for £70 I dont know why but we dont know anything about MyBB 2.0; no previews no nothing all we know is that MyBB is having a new face...

MyBB will not become a premium software. There are no plans to do it, and there have been no internal discussions about it. It's not even a thought. MyBB will always be free. And as I believe I said in another thread, Ryan did not leave because Chris was considering making the software paid; he left for a completely different reason.

You're free, of course, to talk all you want about how much you think it would be worth, but ultimately, it will always be free.

that has been said, and confirmed many times, but this is a discussion about IF it went paid, and if you would still use it or not, etc.

I dont see any reason to leave this thread open any longer as the staff has said countless times it will stay free.
