I encountered a problem where when you register the captcha doesn't show up. This has happened with me on previous forums. I felt too lazy and just removed the captcha so the problem would just go away. Should I just find a solution to fix it or leave it?

I would say fix the issue. Captcha does help in the long run.

Just use the Q&A's registration fields. Captcha was cracked and spam bots can bypass it. Q&A's fields is your best choice.

I also use the Q & A challenge and I just use simple math questions :)

I don't use it anymore. The Q&A system works best for me.

Yep, it does the job. Don't make the questions too easy or the bots might be able to answer them.

@Gampro: What forum software are you using?

@The Others: Whilst I agree that Q&A may be better, somehow ReCaptcha has managed to keep the bots away from Chatting Time for quite some time now, and also Google did update it after it was cracked, so the bots may start to find it harder to crack again.

I recently removed ReCAPTCHA from my join form on 30 Day Challenges, now all my anti spam is invisible :)

In that case, the first thing I would check is that the style being used was correctly updated to 3.0.6+ to work with the phpBB3 Captcha Plugins System

Then, I'd check that the API keys are correct, working and that Captcha is actually enabled
