50 post minimum required to play arcade games!

Yeah, this has been addressed so many times, it's not worth explaining it again. Search the thread and you'll get several good explanations as to why you need 10 posts to use the arcade. This is a community site, not a free arcade site.

 

why do I only have 7 posts I was shure I had more than that......unless I'm thinking of another site yah that's it something about a cow . well now I have 8 maby I'll get more if someone answers my thread about my hijackthis log. :nod:

Well this 10 post minimum does make sense. Allthough I have seen worst on other forums the post count minimum is 400. So to those complainers.......

i seen the great games and just wanted to play them str8 away. it looks like a gr8 forum aswell and i will respect it. looking forward to making some new records

 

yea this is a great forum, but it may loose out on people joining coz of the 10post minimum to play games, but its a gud way to get rid of noobs

 

I think instead of just a 10 post minimum, there should also be a script that boots you foor a week if you don't post within the week.. for instance.. i get 10 posts, then don't post anymore, but the next week comes and i haven't posted this whole week... i wouldn't be able to play all week..

that would raise hell for the ppl that come only for the games, but it would be no problem for people who post regularly..

Oh, and if you go on vacation, you can just contact a mod or admin..

 

or not completely boot you, but restrict your arcade privileges.

lee - we're not missing out on people joining, only on people joining who only want to play games. we're not an arcade site, we're a discussion site with an arcade for active members.

 

Might I make a suggestion that those who only get their 10 posts and then stop posting don't really have the right to criticize, since you're only taking advantage of the access in the first place.

Sorry, but if you abuse the system, you lose your right to speak out about it.

We've now increased the minimum posts to 50 due to abuse. That's a much better number anyways...

I think its a good idea, far too many pointless posts until they get up to 10.

50 is a much harder limit to get to posting utter sh*t.

Mind you we may end up with 50 posts like that.....some fools are tiresome fools

 

they won't get to 50 before we ban them
