I use x10hosting for my image-hosting style site. Apparently, they give you unlimited bandwidth and disk space. They also give you cPanel for free, but the problem is that you only get 2 databases to work with. I am thinking of switching over to Bythehost, but I'm a bit too lazy. :)

x10hosting is working for me so far. Only need two DBs at the moment. :D

Well freehosting isnt really the best way to go. And to let you know if anything is labeled as "unlimited" or unmetered" hosting wise, it never isn't. When I host says they offer everything unlimited, I know right then not to go with them.

Yes, I've heard that a lot. They might say unlimited, but it's probably something like 1 GB or something like that. I've had over 800 MB uploaded with 1 GB bandwidth, nothing happened though. For me, it's not really worth buying hosting when I don't update it much. Just a small site where I post my stuff whenever I want too. :)

that in terms of unlimited/unmetered, it's when you start using "stupid" amounts like 5+GB disk-space & something like hundreds of GB bandwidth transfer that the host may decide to kick you off...

I'm hosted with DownTownHost. Find them very affordable and also extremely reliable, they've been in the business long enough for me to trust them.

I'm using Hostpolar because they have fast servers, their owner is always on to help with support questions - and will even text you to let you know about any issues. like, I brought a VPS, he texted me to let me know that the site was ready to be moved. So, I even talked to him on the phone to let him know that I';d be back on a lil bit. Great host!

I am now hosted by Hawk Host, they are the best host that I have found. Reliable, great service, could not ask for any thing more.

There's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth - be careful with them.

I agree, hosts who say that usually oversell.

I have my sites hosted in Ubiquity Servers NYC location, my VPS servers are in Atlanta (Colo@), Dallas (Ubiquity DAL), Seattle (Ubiquity SEA), Los Angeles (Ubiquity LA), and Falkenstein, Germany (Hetzner)

Too many servers to play with, I'll probably have 20 by the years end lol.

Ya, I was with Hostgator before. I switched to Hostpolar, and my community has been flying since.

Oh yea, HostGator is probably the best example of a host that oversells, and they are trigger happy if you abuse resources.

When AdminBB first opened it was using Fatcow. They are probably the worst host I have used so far.
