oh well .. The old goat is here.
I started when I was a teen .. late 80's early 90's . Back then there was no PCs (well not for teens anyways :D) we had AMIGA computers .. it was the toy of the day .. Games, Photopaint (pre-photoshop :D) animation ... and a 128k modems that we use to dial in our gang leader SysOP's BBS :D so basically this was a closed thing. we have a phone number we dial in and we post plain ASCII text. it was the goof of the day :)
In fact I still have my first copy of Amiga BBS The ancestor of modern day Xenforo :D :D still in its original box :)

Torroz you should probably change my tag to 'Old Goat' :D :D

And I understood every word of it, LOL

My first computer was also a dial up, I felt lucky to have 10 hours a MONTH. Went thru AOHELL. I was mid 40's when I got my first computer.

Amiga is famous for its midi capability. I am younger in forum world. I started in 80's. I am using News Group. For young man here can never understand what we are talking about.

Started visiting forums in late 2006 and made one in june of 2007. Never started a serious one until 2010(i know its odd) when i started cyberguards.

Got another bigger idea in line, but my busy college studies keeps me away from them most of the times.
