Anybody, (including me) who is new to the blogging scene begs the question: "How often should my blog be updated with fresh content"

There is probably a perfect balance between how much work/money you are willing to invest into updating a blog to how much better your traffic/SEO ranking will be with more quality content. Some choose to update their blogs daily, while others slack and agree bi-weekly is just fine to maintain a good PR.

What are your thoughts on how often you should update your blog? Updating a blog with more quality posts/articles isn't an easy job and a newcomer to the scene would like to know how to optimize blog content with traffic.

IMO your blog should be updated every week. you can do it on every weekend, that way you have a total week to gather the content for your blog.

I'm thinking of saturating my blog twice a week, once on Sunday and once on Wednesday with a 300-word article (Probably a review.)

This isn't too much work for me and should help me maintain a steady amount of traffic and SEO will enjoy my quality unique content.

That would be really great if you can update it twice a week. and articles will really spruce up the SEO and the traffic flood.

Yeah, quality content is great for your site, but it looks like the #1 thing is getting strong backlinks from good sites. Those are pretty hard to get :)
