Vbulletin not only is going downhill it also is lacking the custom theme qualities. Some forums aren't really good with Vbulletin but that's not to say all aren't good with it. I know some forums where Vbulletin is the best look and feel for that specific genre/subject. I'm just now a big fan of Vbulletin is all am saying.

I like the features of VB suite, which i really need an integrated CMS for hardware reviews.
IPB functions ok, but there is NO way to get a CMS and it seems the support is a little condescending.
I like Xenforo, alot and looking forward to when they have a CMS.
We tried SMF and liked it, but some mods can tear it up. Be carefull.

Most vb owners hate the cms, they can't get it to work and it's buggy as can be.

Try about 300+ bugs and climbing last I looked. It has 3 critical errors, 73 major, 227 minor, and 72 trivial or unknown JUST for the CMS for this version alone (4.0.8) and that doesn't include the ones not closed from previous versions.
Most of us can't get it to work and usually end up using vbAdvanced which, thankfully is free (it's a major plugin and has been around for a long time)

Yes, it is...and it's free. Not part of the suite like the cms is.

Yea vBadvanced is pretty popular among vBulletin owners. Overall vB is just buggy as hell.

I agree with you on this one, it does have a number of very nice features. I, personally, have issues with it's method of adding themes and add ons because of the way MY ftp is configured. But that is my issue, not their's.

Not sure I know what you mean? If you click the blue A's in the upper right corner, you can get to the text editor and go from there.

When doing a product review, the post (if I use a non-CMS) can be rather long. Example here. The first page is long.
I need to be able to break up a post into multi pages for this reason. I would not need a CMS if I could just insert a page brak in a post.

Actually what you use for that are pages. I saw you registered over on XenForo. Check out these threads:

phpBB is my favorite. I love how phpBB tends to look, and it seems to be the most customizable out of all the current available forum software. phpBB is free, which is amazing. More specifically, I like phpBB3. I don't really like phpBB2 or below. MyBB is also good, they always seem to have great designs, but most forums hosted by MyBB tend to look quite similar.

If its a free hosted forum it will look similar, but I'd say MyBB is better, but both are great.

For me a Chinese site builder have not much choice. SMF's character is too small for Chinese characters and is not easy to change them. MYBB I tested, I think its best free froum software. There is China made free forum software but I don't like the interface. I bought vb4 for its functionality, Chinese support site and translattion. Finally find all of these is a lie. I am cheap so wait until xf announcement and bought a discount license. For free software, using cost is high.

XF's user interface is quite intuisive. Even I don't translate the interface there is not so much problem.

I have always loved SMF and Invisionfree. Had to move away from Invisionfree though as it was no longer updated.
