Hello, A short introduction by me: I am admin on three smf forums. www.bluesforum.nl a Dutch spoken forum about blues. www.bluesharp.nl a Dutch spoken forum about harmonicas. www.bluesforum.com an English spoken forum about blues. This one has just started. I have all three forums running on a VPS server. I joined this forum because I hope to learn some new things here.
Thanks Chris! I have been setting up my profile over here. I was wondering, what are the criteria for being a "beginner", "intermediate", "advanced" or "master" administrator?
I looked at that as what you know how to do behind the scenes. I'm dangerous, I know just enough to get by and maybe a little more! LOL Welcome! You'll definitely find what you need here.
That is solely for you to decide. In other words, how would you rate yourself as an administrator (in regards to skill level)?
I have rated myself as "intermediate". Five months ago one of my forums became to big for shared hosting. I think that's a good point to call myself "intermediate". I noticed that the bigger the forum, the bigger the problems.
