Anyone know if there is a wordpress to ip.content importer.

and if it's possible to keep the same url structure?

Yes, you can import WP content.
No, the url structure will not remain the same since they are different systems.

I did it on 2 sites. URL structure will change, but, with some redirects everything will flow nicely.

Yeah I think it won't be to hard to set the redirects. I'm more worried about loosing the modifications of wordpress though some I am sure i could live without.

I'll have to wait and see if anyone takes up my work request in the mods request section there.

That's what I love about WP...the mods! :star:

I've decided to just stick it out with WP on the front end.

I've purchased an IP.Content license and love it, it's absolutely fantastic and easily the most power CMS like solution integrated to forums, but I'm going to be making use of it's custom database features rather than the articles :D

I'm using IP.Content for custom databases, too. Love it! But the articles system doesn't quite meet our needs yet. It would've been perfect if we could've replicated it for different huge separate sections.

As it stands, we are porting our content back over to WP and other scripts onto totally different sites we will just link to. I have to admit, I missed WP.
