We all know what the general duties of a moderator are, but what are some specific tasks and jobs your moderators must complete? Do they have to make so many posts per day/week? Are they required to welcome all new members? Etc...
Uhh, not really. They just have to be active on both chat and forum, never unban another mod's ban and listen to the users.
I wouldn't say that I've set a series of requirements for my staff members, but I have suggested that they do the following (on a daily basis): Create at least five new threads of their choosing (on-topic, of course). Participate actively in the discussions taking place - not necessarily constantly, but quite often. Be on the lookout for anything that could be considered as "SPAM". Politely welcome the newly registered members - sending them a personalized private message is always appreciated.
