Staff Requirements

    We all know what the general duties of a moderator are, but what are some specific tasks and jobs your moderators must complete? Do they have to make so many posts per day/week? Are they required to welcome all new members? Etc...

    No, but they pretty much do anyway. They're a responsible bunch :)

    Uhh, not really. They just have to be active on both chat and forum, never unban another mod's ban and listen to the users.

    I wouldn't say that I've set a series of requirements for my staff members, but I have suggested that they do the following (on a daily basis):

    • Create at least five new threads of their choosing (on-topic, of course).
    • Participate actively in the discussions taking place - not necessarily constantly, but quite often.
    • Be on the lookout for anything that could be considered as "SPAM".
    • Politely welcome the newly registered members - sending them a personalized private message is always appreciated.
