    Prefix Set ID A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and _ (underscore) only ??
    Title ??
    Display Order ??
Use Prefix Set in These Forums ??

Give each set an id (basically anything you want); the name of the prefix is the "Title"; set the order; choose which forums to use the prefix set in.

Prefixes belong within prefix sets. Once you create the set, you populate it with prefixes.

What a coincidence! I was just about to set up mine, too, and I've never done prefixes before.

    I guess it's a little more involved than I thought. :o

The annoying part about doing this is numbering for the prefix's is all. I wish it would tell you what you've already used. You have to always go and look at them individual. Or I just didn't find a cleaner way to do it.

But once done, its a relief. Just remember that you have 2 ways to have them displayed, once you've assigned them to a specific forum or for everywhere, 1) for how it looks in the list to pick it from and 2) how it will appear on the forums when used.

    example:

[Appetizer] <== how it appears in the list

<font="blue">[Appetizer]</ font> ==> [Appetizer] is how it will appear on the forums

You can do it any way you like really. Pretty handy if you have a General forum that has a few specific recurring items. Other benefit is searching on them.

Yeah, it turned out to be a little easier than I thought. :)
