New Posts?

ok NOT fair. You hid the New Posts link in a dropdown menu. grrrrrrrrrrrr....
It might look pretty and organized, but it's not convenient (at least not for me. I'm spoiled).

 

We normally wouldn't have moved it, but since the "Unread Posts" button in the welcome box (in the upper-right) is a link to New Posts, we didn't see it to be necessary to have two links to the same page.

 

yeah I never look at that link. I don't like that mod, lol. I like my New Posts link.
Oh well.

 

How about I put it back up just for you, using a userID conditional?

I guess I just have a thing about what I consider "unnecessary" mods. They're nice, and convenient, but not really necessary, when you already have the means to do what it does.

Topping it off, I'm vocal about it, and can be pretty blunt.

I think what I'll do is create a new profile option and allow members to toggle the setting to show the new posts link.

I actually complained about it after having seen it last night somewhere, so when I tried clicking on the new posts link where it usually is, I was oddly amused to see that nothing happened. :p

 

too funny, lol.

 

I'm a BIG fan of the "unread posts" mod and I'm happy to see it here. I'm even MORE happy to see that Peggy can still have her way with that option for the "New Posts" link.
