Whilst reading my emails I spotted a old email from last month, a member on my forum complained about a thread saying he found it highly offensive. Being sleepy at the time I never read the thread but removed it from view to review it in the morning. I have only just gotten around to reading it. Surprisingly to me the forum was about being cut or not, after reading through a few posts about members going on about most of America being circumcised and most of England not. I was thinking, what did this member see wrong with this thread. Is there something about being uncut in America which I should be aware of. Is it safe to put this thread back in to view. Also the thread was in a forum which only members who want to discuss things like this are able to see.
I don't see any reason for removing that thread so I would put it back so the user can keep discussing it. And if the user reading it is offended he doesn't need to read it.
No there's nothing different about circumcision in America. It is a matter of great debate in most circles. Some people believe in it for religious and/ or health reasons. Others think it's a barbaric practice. I'd put it back and let the debate continue.
No, I don't see anything wrong with moving this thread back to public view, since you have a section for such discussions.
plazz FTW. At first I was going to say I can see why they wanted the thread to be removed. But when you mentioned it was in a forum where people go to discuss such topics, I don't see how it could be considering wrong.
As along as you got some type of general talk section and it doesn't cross into XXX discussions, I don't see an issue.
