False Information when buying?

Have you ever bought any site or licence or anything like that and didn't get what you were promised? Like false statistic or not inluding everything that was supposed to be included?

I've never purchased another website, so I haven't been scammed. I hope I never do.

I have never brought a website but as my post earlier today says i brought and paid for a premium script which would of boosted our forums but it was never sent, he uploaded it but it didn't work on 3.8

I was able to grab a full copy of it before he removed it (so i sneakily have the system) but it doesn't work on my 3.8 board and the guy refuses to speak to me he appears online but never writes back.

(Now seem i was smart enough to get a full copy of it when he uploaded the files to work from I have it on my hard drive, but cant find anyone to take a look at it and see if they can get it working on vb3.8)

 

What kind of script was it, some kind of traffic booster?

No it was a Fantasy Sport Script - I do have a full copy of it including the product to install however it simply doesnt work for 3.8.x - he has it working on other sites using 3.7.x but not on 3.8 and that is what he was meant to be doing fixing it all up for 3.8.x

It is just annoying me I am just glad that I was smart enough to see it up there and so I quickly downloaded it! now just have to organise getting it fixed up!

 

If it works on 3.7 I don't think it should be so hard to get it working on 3.8. He should at least refund your money if he doesn't want to work on the script. Maybe you should name and shame?
