Using XenForo to create a forum for teens and such, got it all set up all the boards are ready to post in but there's this one HUGE problem, all the permission are fully set so people should be able to post and make topics, but they cant ;/ Anyone had this problem before and know the fix?
M0st likely you messed up the permissions and set some to Deny which is causing the problem. Anyways good choice of picking xenforo.
Re-checked everywhere where you can set permission they're all set correctly, rather confused. May have to re-install what could fix the problem, but that's a last resort. But looks like I may have to.
Dont do that, im sure the permissions are not setup properly... keep trying you might find the problem.
Check everywhere, although I've been editing a few things to make the forum make a bit better I'm not sure if that could be the problem, maybe I did something that interfered with the permissions.
That would be the only reason. They permissions can get a bit confusing. Happened to me when I was first getting used to xenforo.
Yeah, forum softwares are usually confusing the first time, just gotta mess around and learn a few things
